This is a photo of the inside of an acoustic guitar. Quite a costly image as it required cutting a hole in the side of the guitar to fit the camera lens. A yellow night lamp and very long shutter speed has made for a very interesting image that takes some time to figure out.
The glowing tubes
This is an image of tubes from the inside of a guitar amplifier. Long shutter speed and no other light source makes for an interesting and striking image. The blue tinge is from the power pilot light at the front of the amplifier.
The pink strings
Through the use of a macro lens and extremely shallow depth of field, comes an unusual effect on a bass guitar fret board. Yes, they actually make pink guitar strings.
When the bass drops
Very simply, this is black paint on a sub woofer. It was shot in studio with a specific lighting configuration to capture even highlights on each side of the paint. A necessary tool for this image was, of course, some dubstep.
